Hello everyone --
I have changed a few things on the forum main page, the biggest being the sponsors adds will now rotate with each page refresh. Id appreciate it if a few folks would let me know if its working or if there are any problems.

You should be able to click on any banner and it will direct you to the appropriate site. Also beneath the banners will be any specials or adds that are currently being offered.

Thanks all
Lance

Seems to be working here. Is the to be a page with all the sponcers links listed in one place so that you don't have to refresh till the sponcer you want comes around?

if you follow the active topics link there is a grid with all the sponsors listed - I may bring that grid to the main forum page, and place it over the rotating image.

They all appear to be working from my point of view, I clicked each one and they all led me to the appropriate site. I see that they all come up in a random sequence. Lookin good.

Works for me too. I'm using IE if that info is helpful in any way.

Thanks Dave - that indeed does help -
I feel as do most the sponsors that a rotating add catches the eye of the OLF'ers more so than a static banner- our eyes begin to pass of over them -

Thanks
Lance

Dunno, Lance. I use the Active topics venue.
Went over to check the ads, and it seems to have wiped out the background color--at least--when I come back to read posts.
I DO have graphics, though.

I don't know how you guys do all this stuff.

Lance...

I like the idea of moving the sponsor grid to the front page, too. Otherwise, yeah, it does make the page less cluttered. Looks good!

I would prefer that the links to all the sponsors are all on the front page in addition to the rotating banner; I bet new folks to the forum might not know to look at the active topics location. Just my 2 cents.
thanks for a great forum! Tom Harbin

Lance,

It works fine but to be honest I prefer to be able to see all the links because I regularly check a couple of the sponsor's sites. Of course today I was surprised not to see the links. Maybe it would be a good idea to have the rotating banner like you have setup and also a link to a page with all the sponsor's banners. Great job on the site, it just keeps getting better.
